Many seniors will eventually need to move to an assisted living facility because they can no longer take care of themselves. It will likely fall on their adult children to identify the signs that indicate it’s time for a change, so it’s important they know what to look out for.
Recognizing when a senior would be safer and happier in an assisted living facility doesn’t have to be a traumatic event, and I’d like to help ease some of the stress that comes with this big life change.
Would you be open to allowing me to write an article on this topic for you to share on your site? I’ll talk about what behaviors or factors indicate it’s time to consider the move to assisted living as well as how to have a sensitive and productive conversation about it. By God’s grace 🙏 and heart of Prayers Kevin And I were hit on all sides leaving the house. We felt the nervousness and strife of the enemies unseen. We fought bad driving and internal pressure By enemy Darts and attack. After visiting tent city once we headed home. I pulled into Buckmans carwash to take inventory. We were exhausted by mental trauma. I said Kevin I think we’re done today. But let’s pray. God in a still small voice said go back to tent city. We arrived to see no one. Then put a little food on table. I saw someone peeking thru a curtain. I invited him out for ☕ coffee. It led to prayer . Then baptism and sinner prayer. Johnathan Lee was converted with laughter then tears.

By way of introduction, this post will simply tell you something about SabbathKeepersFellowship.org . We began as a simple prison ministry in 1996, but have evolved into much more, and we want to share that with you. Later posts will bring teaching, testimony, scripture, and all sorts of interesting information that we think you will find to be of great value. Sabbath Keepers Fellowship & Prison Ministry is a non-denominational fellowship of the children of YHWH Most High whose purpose is to unite its members to serve and obey Him in all things; to minister to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of the poor and needy prisoner, both during incarceration and upon release from prison; and to minister to the needs of their families and friends. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supported solely by the grace of our Creator and by the charitable donations, contributions and tithes of its friends and of the general public. While SKF serves all Sabbath keepers and has a diverse range of services, the prison ministry is the centerpiece of Sabbath Keepers Fellowship and is the focus of its charitable operations. It provides volunteers, books, Sacred Name Scriptures, concordances, calendars, various worship items such as the tallith (prayer shawl), tallith katan and kippah, as well as festival and Sabbath matzah (bread) and juice, to prison inmates and to their families. Our Passover Package program, through which the minimum Passover Seder items as listed in Scripture are provided to thousands of inmates across the nation, is the most popular of all the programs offered by the ministry. Sabbath Keepers Fellowship also sponsors and holds services on the 7th day Sabbath in diverse places both inside the prisons and out each week, as is made possible by prison authorities, facilitated by its volunteers, and as desired by its followers and friends. The goals and mission of Sabbath Keepers Fellowship are further achieved through its re-entry initiative which attempts to provide some faith-based housing, life-skills education, and emotional and spiritual support for it’s prison members after their release, as is made possible through your charitable giving. All proceeds from charitable donations to SKF are used for the purposes of it’s prison ministry and none of it’s staff takes a salary nor compensation of any kind. All of the ministry’s materials and programs are provided to prisoners free of charge as mandated in the Scriptures in Matthew 10:8, “…freely you have received, freely give.” You can be absolutely sure that when you make a donation to SKF, every penny goes to the people who need it most – our inmate members and their families. And, all of your donations are fully tax deductible.
Sabbath Keepers Fellowship & Prison Ministry seeks to bring the living water of the Word and Spirit of YHWH Almighty to all who desire it as expressed in Isaiah 55:1, “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come buy and eat. Come buy wine and milk without money and without cost.” In obedience to His Son Yehoshua Messiah’s words of love, our creed is: “Then the righteous will answer Him saying, ‘Master, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you? Or when did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ And the King will answer and say unto them, ’Assuredly, I say unto you, inasmuch as you did it to the least of these my brethren, you did it to Me.”
OUR HISTORY
Sabbath Keepers Fellowship was founded in 1996 as a home fellowship and study group having an outreach ministry to believers in prison. Donations and contributions were utilized primarily to supply bibles and teaching materials to inmates who could not otherwise afford or obtain them. At that time the ministry was quite small and localized. By 1999, the ministry’s operations were expanded and additional programs added. Sabbath Keepers boasted an ever-growing inmate membership, a monthly newsletter, book and bible giveaways, a Pen-Pal program, a national Passover Package program added in 2011, support of Sabbath worship services on various prison units in multiple states, and even some limited personal visitation to inmates by SKF volunteers. Now, through the grace of the Most-High, and because of a great need and demand in the prisons at this time, Sabbath Keepers has flourished and grown into a nationwide ministry serving over 3,000 inmates and their families in 41 states, a home-service and festival venue open to all, as well as facilitating an ever-growing social-media community of faith separate from our prison ministry efforts.

Sabbath Keepers Fellowship offers its services and support to those who seek to observe the Scriptural commandments without regard to particular denominations, race, creed, color or doctrines. We have done so for well over two decades and many thousands of men and women – your brothers and sisters in faith – have benefited through these efforts. Our goal is simply to help as many people of our faith as we can in the time we have allotted to us, and then someday be among those who, when confronted by our Master on the last day, will hear Him say, ”Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, ‘Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was hungry and you gave me meat; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came unto me’. ” (Matt.25:34-36)
